AOE wins second consecutive Moodie Award for best E- and M-Commerce

For the second year in a row, The Moodie Davitt Report has recognised AOE for its innovation in Travel Retail and rewarded the company with a Moodie for Best E- and M-Commerce. AOE won the award for transforming the Heathrow Boutique from a Reserve & Collect service into a digital omnichannel marketplace that combines flight information, shopping and airport services on a single platform. Heathrow Boutique is built on AOE’s award-winning Omnichannel Multi-Merchant Marketplace, or OM³.

The Moodie for Best E- and M-Commerce “recognises the most effective use of e-commerce and mobile to achieve a specific marketing outcome within airport travel and retail environment.” According to The Moodie Davitt Report “this year’s winners represent a masterclass of digital innovation and excellence. They also underline some pivotal trends in the industry’s use of digital media.”

Awards were conferred in 21 categories, with the winners being chosen from 170 shortlisted finalists.
