The list includes the largest providers in this segment according to the share of sales they generate in this area. Only companies with at least 30 percent of their turnover in the "Platforms, E-Commerce and Services" area are taken into consideration.
With solutions such as the OM³ Multi Merchant Marketplace and the B2X E-Commerce Platform, AOE's specialists are widely regarded as experts in the development and integration of digital marketplaces in a wide variety of industries and application fields – as confirmed by the latest ranking results. In the Internetagentur-Ranking 2020 the company is now in 17th place. This development shows: As a specialized web service provider and Open Source Integrator, AOE continues to compete successfully with major German and international media agencies.

The Internet Agency Ranking is considered the industry barometer of the German Internet agency landscape. Since 2001, it has been collated and published annually by the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. with its cooperation partners HighText iBusiness, Horizont and werben & verkaufen. AOE's upward trend since its first placement in 2010 remains unbroken.
